Don’t be afraid to talk to someone to get help and support for your MS. Here are some tips from others living with MS that they find helpful:
Speak up. Don’t suffer in silence. Tell somebody. Recognize when you might need support and don’t be afraid to ask for help whether it be from friends, family or your healthcare team.
Find what works for you. You might prefer meeting other people with MS, interacting through social media, or speaking to family and friends.
Get expert advice. Ask your healthcare team about local support groups.
Try to help others. Get involved. Think about volunteering for a local organization – support can come in unconventional ways.
